Our Programs

Nadharia’s programs respond to the lived realities of sexual and gender minorities in Kenya addressing immediate risk while building pathways toward long-term wellbeing, stability and self-determination. Our work is delivered through four core programs, each shaped by community needs and grounded in intersectional feminist practice.

SAFETY AND SECURITY

We focus on coordinated emergency response and protection support for individuals facing immediate risk. It is designed to respond quickly, carefully, and confidentially, while prioritizing dignity and harm reduction.

INCLUSIVE ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT (IEEP)

We create pathways to skills, livelihoods, and economic stability through hands-on training and community-led enterprise.

CREATIVE ADVOCACY

We use culture, performance, and creative expression to engage communities, sustain our work, and amplify collective voices.

SPORTS

We use football to build belonging, leadership, and economic solidarity while challenging exclusion in mainstream sports spaces.
